Air mattress, fold out couch, or futon?

Husband and I need to downsize to a studio apartment. Just one dilema. Sleeping arrangement? We need something with a high weight limit (we're both over weight) but also want it to last and be comfortable. Cant decide on air matress, fold out sofa , or futon. Wich do you think would be best and why?
