Should I turn my loft bed into a normal bed?

My room is sort of small and I have a full size loft bed metal and a futon under it but I kinda want a low bed so I can watch tv and chill o my bed and even tho loft beds have more storage under I honestly don't hav anything down there but my futon and I would be getting rid of that as a result of lowerig my bed.so should i
