Cat pees everywhere help!!!?

My cat ginger-ale just got fixed a week ago. However, he proved that his habit of making the whole house his litter box has not gone away. He peed on my futon, then by my bedroom door and over by a window in the livingroom. I have been spraying animal ceaning products on the spots as well as steam cleaning...this morning rght in front of me he peed in the kitchen. He was put on antibiotics to help an infection that the vet said he had....but still nothing! Anyone have any ideas? I clean the litter box daily, fresh litter, good food, water...I don't know what to do!!
